Saturday Reflections

 As I promised in my last post today would be about the recent trip the family took to Walt Disney World. I can truly say it was unlike any other trip to WDW I have ever took.  First off it only was the three of us (Jule, Wyatt and myself) while my daughter took care of the animals and my other son was staying at his apartment. We stayed at a new resort for us, Pop Century. For the three of us it was perfect, except that Wyatt fell out of the bed and cut his eye. I liked the access to the Skyliner which we took to EPCOT on our second day of the trip. We hit all four parks plus Disney Springs on our first night and last day. We ate at Paradiso 37, had dessert at the Salt and Straw, we also ate at The Plaza, Sleepy Hollow and the Boathouse. As for attractions we experienced the new Remy's ride along with Soarin' , Spaceship Earth, and Living With the Land at EPCOT. We also listened to the Voices of America and watched Harmonious.  It may come to a surprise to some of you that know me I am getting close to my retirement. In one or two years I probably will make that decision. However, I am currently "rehearsing" for retirement in our vacation home in Florida. We will be spending a good portion of June in our house/home. We have been here since Thursday after spending some time with our daughter and dropping our oldest back at his apartment.  So far we have been looking for furniture, searching for a church, enjoying local cuisine and relaxing before we take a trip to WDW for Father's Day weekend. Of course that will be my summer hi lite but I must admit relaxing in Florida with no distractions is pretty nice. Yesterday we went to a park with a couple walking trails in which I got in my steps as if I was on a normal day at WDW over 20,000 steps later I can say I was pooped. However, I spotted wild life such as deer, wild turkeys, and birds of all kind. Plus the scenery was beautiful. The only downfa
